Build the Right Thing

Before AI writes a single line of code, Code Easy's design thinking framework ensures you're solving the right problem for the right users.

The Five Phases of Design Thinking

Define
Ideate

1 Empathize

Understand your users and their needs

  • Who are your users? What are their roles and contexts?
  • What pain points do they experience today?
  • What does success look like from their perspective?
  • What insights have you gathered from research or observation?

2 Define

Frame the problem clearly

  • State the problem clearly — focus on the problem, not the solution
  • Define measurable success metrics
  • Identify constraints: time, budget, technical, regulatory
  • Set clear boundaries for scope

3 Ideate

Explore solution approaches

  • What solution approach are you proposing?
  • What alternatives did you consider?
  • Why is this approach better than the alternatives?
  • What are the trade-offs of your chosen approach?

4 Prototype

Define MVP scope and iterations

  • What's included in the first version (MVP)?
  • What features are intentionally deferred?
  • What does your iteration roadmap look like?
  • How will you gather feedback between iterations?

5 Test

Define validation criteria

  • How will you know the solution works?
  • What are your specific acceptance criteria?
  • How will you validate with real users?
  • What metrics will you track post-launch?
